Free Samsung Galaxy S3 DealsAs the first week comes to a close after the release of Samsung Galaxy S3 deals in the UK we take a look at the cheapest contracts offering a free phone as more of the retailers release their prices for this latest flagship Galaxy phone.

Still out ahead (but not by much) is the O2 contract deal at £29 per month which offers the Samsung Galaxy SIII free of charge, included in this tariff are 100 minutes of calls, unlimited SMS and 100MB of data, it’s worth noting that although this is the cheapest Galaxy S3 deal available with a free phone the 100MB of data allocation may not be enough for many average users.

Following close behind O2′s deal are Vodafone, Orange and T-Mobile all offering this new Galaxy S3 phone free with contract deals at £31 line rental, here’s a quick run down of what’s included in these offers:

Vodafone

Vodafone 900 + Unlimited + 500MB at £31900 minutes, unlimited SMS, 500MB data

There are actually 4 pay monthly tariffs available at £31 that provide a free Samsung Galaxy S3 but they all offer 500MB of inclusive data so this Vodafone deal is the best of them all with 900 minutes to use.

T-Mobile

T-Mobile 300 + Unlimited + 1.5GB at £31 – 300 minutes, unlimited SMS, 1.5GB data

T-Mobile 600 + Unlimited + 750MB at £31600 minutes, unlimited SMS, 750MB data

T-Mobile 900 + Unlimited + 250MB at £31900 minutes, unlimited SMS, 250MB data

T-Mobile have played things slightly different by letting you choose more minutes or more data for the same monthly rental price, an average user gets through just over 250MB of data each month so the middle 600 tariff may suit a lot of users, however those that don’t make this many calls but rather watch videos, download content and browse the net might want to look at the 300 deal with a very good 1.5GB of data whilst those that do a lot of talking with not so much online activity could opt for the 900 package.

Orange

Orange Panther 31 – 400 minutes, unlimited SMS, 750MB data

Orange Dolphin 31 – 600 minutes, unlimited SMS, 250MB data

Orange cater for both types of Galaxy S3 users by reducing the amount of minutes in favour of more data like the T-Mobile deals, (this would make sense as both networks are now owned under the same umbrella group; Everything Everywhere), this is a straight choice dependent on how much you talk compared with how much data you need.

Th other UK networks that have released Samsung Galaxy S3 contract deals are Three Mobile and Talk Mobile, the first is just £1 more expensive in their deals for a free phone whilst Talk Mobile (a virtual network running on Vodafone) doesn’t actually offer the phone free at this time.

Three Mobile

Three 500 + 5000 + 250MB at £32 – 500 minutes, 5000 SMS, 250MB data

Considering that you can get more minutes and data for your money with the rival networks, Three Mobile are not quite there on price yet, however they do offer deals with unlimited inclusive data which may be attractive to heavy users.

We’re keeping a close eye on contract deals for the Samsung Galaxy SIII as they are released, as it stands these are all what are known as ‘pre-order’ offers that will be fulfilled on May 30th once UK stocks arrive.
